Recruitment is not enough.

The work to recruit Black educators must consider the environment we are inviting them to. As the data reveals, current school conditions still carry the residue anti-black practices and policies responsible for the decline of Black educators.

We are committed to increasing the number of Black educators that stay in schools.

Our fellowship is designed to support school and system leaders as they commit to eradicating anti blackness. In a community of practice cohort, school leaders will have the opportunity to identify one of the five guiding tenets to Black educator retention and implement the strategies to strengthen their commitment to shifting school environments.

Fellowship includes:

  • cohort style learning with asynchronous and synchronous materials. Including 4 full group learning sessions.

  • over 100hrs of individual coaching

  • access to templates and materials for implementation
